Last Sunday, March 15, 2015 it was my first time walking along Los Angeles River. I honestly never thought that I would find anything interesting along the river in the area between Fletcher Dr and Sunnynook Dr.
This nearly 48-mile river starts from Simi Hill and Santa Susana Mountains to Long Beach, California. Despite the fact that the river suffers pollution from agricultural and urban runoff, I found several interesting things along the way such as graffiti, painting and trees. For instance the featured image above. There is a dry tree that grew attached with the fence and barbwire , with the dark blue mood it feels like an early cold evening with a sculpture of an alien climbing out from the fence.
